The Sony SPK-HCG Water-Resistant Housing for Camcorders is a lightweight housing for a variety of Sony camcorders. It allows you to take your camcorder underwater down to 16' (4.87 m) or use it in challenging conditions like rain, snow, or on a sandy beach, without worrying about damaging it. The housing is constructed from durable heavy-duty plastic and glass, and has a built-in stereo microphone. Button functions include Power On/Off, Mode Select (Movies, Still Images, Video Playback), REC Start/Stop, Photo Recording, and Variable Zoom (2 steps).

FY11 CAM (HDR-PJ10, PJ30V, PJ50V, XR160, CX360V, CX560V, CX700V and previous camcorder models covered by the SPK-HCF housing are compatible with the SPK-HCG housing.

Middle-low MS camcorders covered by the SPK-CXB housing, CX40000/1 and MP4 models are not compatible with the SPK-HCG housing.
