We run a golf pro shop and we offer lessons. Recording our students to show what they are doing wrong is a very important part of improving. This lens allows us to record the player from a close distance and get the entire shot into one frame. It also works well for our out door use because you can put a filter on it. We use it for both our Sony and Canon vixia camcorders. We already purchased two of these along with 3 batteries and adapters. All priced right, all work well. We will back for more.

Wow what a great lens. So small and light and gives a me huge wide angle without a fisheye. I love that i can my filters with it. Little expensive but every dollar worth it. I use the CX550V sony handycam.

Love this lens! It really helped me on my fishing trip. I was able to get really close up to the fish i caught without being very away. I screwed a polarizer filter right onto the front of the lens, it helped greatly with all the sunlight.

Love this lens. It's very small and light and it as wide of an angle you can get with out getting the distortion or a fish eye. It just screwed right on to my sony with out no Sony adapters. I have been buying Bower lenses for over 30 years now. If you want the best and dont mind spending a few bucks then buys it

After reading an article in one of those magazines on my Jet blue flight i found this item as one of the hot gadgets to own for this year. I wrote down the model # and info and ordered it the first moment i could. Im a huge fan of these types of lenses. This one is ultra small and extremely well made. It's the widest angle lens i could find for my Sony. I love it.

Perfect in every way. From the size to weight and even looks. It matches my Sony camcorders looks and quality amazingly well. Those Japanese really know what there doing. The first Sony lens i bought and returned was big, bulky and the front of the lens did not even have treading for filters. Sony make a great camera but i was never to happy with there accessories. Im glad this lens has a life time warranty. It will work with any camcorder i ever buy. 37mm is a standard size for most camcorders out there. Especially Sony made ones. nice lens but a bit over priced i feel. I guess it's worth it for the customer thats going to be using it often. I think the sony lens would have been good enough for me. Its not as wide and a bit bulky but you get what you pay for. I would still recommend it to a friend. Only the rich ones of course.

I love this lens. I actually purchased the Sony one first thinking it would be the best. I should had read the reviews on line about it before buying. Many people were not to happy with the Sony. I did not like the fact it was only a 0.7 wide angle. It was just not wide enough. It was heavy, bulky, and you cant this lens with a filer. When i called i gadget now and told them my situation Andy recommended this lens. He explained to me all the benefits and what they actually meant. Once i got it home I promised him i would right a good review if was happy. Im estatic!
